NC and RJPN lawmakers disrupt provincial meeting

DHANGADHI, Sept 28: Main opposition party, Nepali Congress(NC) and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) lawmakers disrupted the Province-7 provincial meeting. They disrupted regarding the proposal of a new capital for Province 7.

DHANGADHI, Sept 28: Main opposition party, Nepali Congress(NC) and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) lawmakers disrupted the Province-7 provincial meeting. They disrupted regarding the proposal of a new capital for Province 7.



A special committee coordinated by lawmaker Tara Lama Tamang had submitted the proposal for the province’s name and capital. ‘Sudurpaschim’ was proposed as the name of the province while its proposed capital is Godawari Municipality-4 of Kailali district.

Right away Speaker Arjun Thapa stated about the beginning of the meeting while main opposition party NC and RJPN lawmakers stood up and disrupted the meeting.
