NB Bank branch in Maharajgunj

KATHMANDU, March 11: Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd (NB Bank) opened its 44th branch office in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu on the occasion of the 107th International Women’s Day.

KATHMANDU, March 11: Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd (NB Bank) opened its 44th branch office in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu on the occasion of the 107th International Women’s Day.

Issuing a statement, the bank said Nepal Rastriya Bank Deputy Governor Shiva Raj Shrestha inaugurated the branch office.  The bank it intends to provide its women employees an opportunity to enhance their leadership capabilities through the new branch office.


The bank has been providing financial services to clients through 44 branch offices, three extension counters, seven branchless-banking services and 41 ATM outlets, the NB Bank said. The bank said it recorded a profit of Rs 540 million in the second quarter of the current fiscal year.
