National College is hosting their annual festival, ‘National Youth Fest’ at its premises in Dhumbarahi on Sunday.

Last year’s ‘National Youth Fest’ was a three-day event. However, the fest is only 2 days long this time, being concluded on the very next day at the college venue.

National Youth Fest focuses on grooming grade 12 students. “Participants (Grade 12 students) will apply individually and in the program, they will be divided into groups. Each group will have a mentor. There will be sessions from prominent national figures, celebrities, and experts,” the college wrote on ‘National Youth Fest 2019’ Facebook event page.

At the closing ceremony, the college will award ‘National Youth Icon 2019’ to a male and female contestant. The award will be given on the basis of participants’ evaluation in activities such as badminton, quiz, debate, chess, table tennis, and talent show. The mentors and the core committee will evaluate the performances.
