KATHMANDU, August 6: Senior leader Narayankaji Shrestha has been given the responsibility of acting chairman of CPN (Maoist Center).
After Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal left for a five-day visit to Japan, Shrestha assumed the role of Acting Chairman.

According to spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Shrestha will take over the duties of the Acting Chairman of the party until August 9.
