NAC, Postal Services Department ink agreement to transport parcels and letters

KATHMANDU, June 29: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has signed an agreement with the Postal Services Department for the distribution of parcels and letters in the international arena.

KATHMANDU, June 29: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has signed an agreement with the Postal Services Department for the distribution of parcels and letters in the international arena.



Issuing a statement on Tuesday, NAC said that the agreement will come into effect from July 1. “Under the agreement, parcels and letters will now be transported only through the NAC to all destinations where the Postal Services Department provides its services and to the destinations where NAC flies.” Earlier, the department was carrying out the work through various foreign airlines. WIth this, it is believed that the millions of rupees being paid to foreign airlines will be circulated within the country.

The agreement was signed by Dim Prasad Poudel, general manager of NAC and Abha Shrestha Karna, Director General of the Postal Services Department.
