KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Major Ajit Pratap Singh of Nepal Army has been arrested on Saturday evening. According to a source from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police has arrested Major Singh.

However, the reason behind the arrest is still unknown; the source said and added that a team from the Nepal Army has been deployed to investigate the case.
Meanwhile, Nepal Police has informed that Major Singh has been arrested with 1.5 grams of brown sugar near the Eastern Divisional Headquarter of Nepal Army. An investigation into the case is underway, the police informed.
