KATHMANDU, June 18: Today's meeting of the National Assembly has endorsed the 'Appropriation Bill, 2077 BS' by majority votes. Minister for Finance Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada had presented the bill along with a message from the House of Representatives at the meeting.

Before this, a majority of the upper house disapproved the proposal put forward by lawmakers including Prakash Pant, Taradevi Bhatta, Anita Devkota, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi, Jeetendra Narayan Dev regarding the cut off of the proposed expenditure related to different ministries under the 'Appropriation Bill, 2077'. The next meeting of the upper house will take place at 11.00am Friday.
