‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is a biographical drama movie directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut. The film is based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi and her war against British during late 1850s.

K. V. Vijayendra Prasad is a scenarist while Amitabh Bachchan narrated the movie. Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut’s directorial movie include Atul Kulkarni, Jisshu Sengupta, Danny Denzongpa and several other actors and Ranaut herself as a lead actor.
The movie is set to be released from Friday.
