CHITWAN, Oct 5: A person riding a motorcycle has died after being hit by a Scorpio in Chitwan. The Scorpio hit the motorcycle at Seti Dobhan in Bharatpur Metropolis at 9:35 this morning.
Mitra Lal Pangeni, 48, of Parbat Mahashila Rural Municipality-5 died after he was hit by the Scorpio (Ba 15 Cha 7479). He was riding a motorcycle with the number plate Bagmati Pradesh 02-036 Pa 1174.
Motorcyclist killed in accident
Police said that the condition of his wife Radha Pangeni, who was riding pillion on the motorbike, is not concerning. Mitra Lal received serious head injuries. Police said that he died at 10.30 AM on Wednesday during treatment at the Old Medical College, Bharatpur.
Radha Pangeni is undergoing treatment at the Medical College, Bharatpur. District Police Office, Chitwan have impounded the Scorpio and the motorcycle and taken the scorpio driver under control.
