BIRATNAGAR, Dec 9: CPN-MC's Aman Lal Modi, representing the left alliance, has been elected to the House of Representatives from constituency no. 4 of Morang.

Modi won with 33,529 votes defeating NC's Mahesh Acharya, who was his closest rival with 26,800 votes.
Of the result of four constituencies announced so far, all have been won by the left alliance. Of the remaining two, NC's Minendra Rijal is leading the vote count in Morang-2 while Shiva Kumar Mandal of CPN-MC is leading in Morang-5. RSS
