KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma and the secretaries of different committees formed for the organization of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) held a meeting Sunday to discuss ways of successful conduction of the mega sporting event.
In the meeting, Minister Bishwakarma directed everyone to carry out their responsibilities seriously, stating that the SAG was an event of national pride. He directed the officials to make their utmost efforts to organize the games smoothly and efficiently.

On the occasion, SAG secretariat chief Kamal Khanal expressed his confidence that everyone would fulfill their responsibilities according to the working procedures. Administrative department chief of National Sports Council Kul Bahadur Thapa listed out the respective responsibilities for all the participating officials.
In the meeting, National Team Preparatory Committee Secretary Mahendra Kumar Rai, Sports Site Management Secretary Labh Bhakta Shrestha, Technical Committee Secretary Arjun Bahadur BK, Security Secretary Fanindra Paudel, Shelter Management Secretary Binod Uprety, Transportation Management Secretary Saroj Kumar Pokharel, Health Secretary Madhu Sudhan, Publicity Management Secretary Durga Prasad Dulal, Hospitality Management Secretary Ananta Devi Khanal, Sports Materials and Jersey Management Secretary Bajra Bahadur KC and Anti Doping Secretary Tilak Nepal were present.
The next meeting will be held on Monday with Minister Bishwakarma and other secretaries to discuss the games further.
