KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati has asked Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) Executive Chairman Ubaraj Adhikari why the report of the committee formed for the reform of NAC has not been implemented.

“Why has the report prepared by the committee formed in the past not been implemented yet? If the report has been implemented, what stage has it reached?” he asked.
In addition, Minister Kirati also instructed NAC to submit the details of work progress. He questioned why a seat of the narrow-body aircraft was not repaired even for two weeks after it was broken.
In response, Executive Chairman Adhikari promised that the report is at the final stage of implementation and that he will submit the details soon.
Similarly, he replied that it took time to complete the legal process to repair the seats of the aircraft and that the seats would be repaired within a few days.
The committee led by former pilot Kul Bahadur (KB) Limbu submitted the third monthly report to Minister Kirati on Wednesday to implement the report prepared by former governor Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri for reforming the NAC.
