Minister Khatiwada urges people to donate organs

KATHMANDU, March 10: Minister for Health and Population, Birodh Khatiwada has urged everyone to consider donating their organs after their demise.

KATHMANDU, March 10: Minister for Health and Population, Birodh Khatiwada has urged everyone to consider donating their organs after their demise. 



Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the World Kidney Day, Minister Khatiwada said that kidney patients would get a lot of benefits if the organs were donated after somebody’s death.

On the occasion, Khatiwada clarified that people who receive kidney transplants do not have to worry after surgery stating that they will be able to do anything a normal person does. The World Kidney Day which falls on March 10 is being observed amid various programs in Nepal today.
