KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Minister for Population and Environment Jaydev Joshi has said the use and promotion of renewable energy including solar power was the priority of the government.
Addressing a programme organised by the Energy Development Council in his honour today, Minister Joshi said transport sector had the much consumption of petro energy and a huge budget was spent every year in its import.

Now time was for promoting electric vehicles to save the budget and protect environment as well.
