KATHMANDU, July 17: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has directed all departments and offices under the ministry to work to meet the target announced by the government.
Minister Baskota urged all the employees of the ministry and departments to perform actively, sincerely and efficiently while speaking at a program to unveil the unified work plan of the ministry for the new fiscal year on Wednesday.

He warned the employees of the negative consequences due to minor negligence of one department that could drag the whole system of the country into the negative track.
Stating that the ministry has performed quite well in the last fiscal year, however, he said that there are many more things to be done for the satisfactory result. He clarified that the one and all should focus on their work to meet the goals set for the programs and policies of the new fiscal policy.
He assured that he would regularly monitor the work in progress of all the departments and make them accountable to the public.
