KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Milan Pandey has been elected as the president of Bibeksheel Nepali Dal on Wednesday.
Pandey, 30, was elected during an election held in Janakpur defeating his rival Shiva Prasad Thapa.

Of the total valid 432 votes, Pandey garnered 254 votes while his rival Thapa got 156 votes. Twelve votes were invalid.
Likewise, Nirdesh Silwal has been elected as general secretary and Sanjeev Bhattarai as secretary (policy). The party is holding election for the posts of vice chairperson, secretary (management) and treasurer.
