MCC grant will boost country’s development and employment: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU, March 10: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the amount of grant received as per the MCC agreement will help the country's development and create employment.

KATHMANDU, March 10: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the amount of grant received as per the MCC agreement will help the country's development and create employment.



Addressing a program organized to hand over certificates to the newly-elected office-bearers of Nepali Congress, Parsa in Birgunj on Thursday, he claimed that the amount of grant-in-aid as per the MCC agreement would help in the development and employment of the country.

"The money coming from the MCC is not a loan but a grant," Deuba said, adding that "It enhances the country's development and employment." He also handed out certificates to the newly-elected office-bearers of the party’s working committee in Prasa.
