KATHMANDU, August 26: Balendra Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality, will go to the Tripureshwor Passport Department with a dozer on Friday. A KMC team has already reached there for inspection.

Mayor Balen, who removed the illegal structures in the New Baneshwor area on Thursday, will go to the passport department on Friday, according to his Personal Secretariat.
The metropolis, which had issued a 35-day notice, has started using dozers after many of its offices did not give heed to the notice. Mayor Shah himself is reaching the field and giving instructions for demolition.
