URLABARI (Morang), Aug 14: A married woman has died following a knife attack at Pathari Sanischare in Morang on Saturday.
Mukunda Karki's 21-year-old wife, Samichya Karki, of Pathari Sanischare – 10 was attacked by Dillip Ghatani, 31, of Pathari Sanischare – 11. Ghatani stabbed Karki at her home at 2 pm.
Karki succumbed to fatal injuries in course of treatment at night in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences of Dharan, said Inspector, Ramesh Basnet, of Area Police Office, Pathari.
Basnet added that the reason for the attack has not been revealed. The Area Police Office, Pathari has taken the attacker into custody. RSS
