DANG, May 14: The Maoists have begun a victorious start in Dang. CPN(Maoist Center)’s Rim Bahadur Sunari Magar was elected as Ward Chairperson in Rapti Village Municipality-9 by securing 358 votes.

His nearest rival Ramesh Chuhan secured 198 votes. A total of 714 votes were cast in the Ward. The Maoist Center candidates have maintained lead in almost all wards of Rapti Municipality.
