KATHMANDU, August 19: Mahajalyatra Mahotsav (mega rafting event) has been organized in the Bagmati River on the occasion of 223rd week of Bagmati Clean-up Campaign on Saturday.
With the slogan, “Let’s keep the Bagmati River clean for our posterity,” Institute of Nepal Rivers Protection and Friends Club Kupondole jointly organized the event which was promoted by Nepal Tourism Board.

Centenarian cultural expert Satya Mohan Joshi was invited as the chief guest in the event where various programs including rafting, drawing, cycle rally, Rickshaw pulling and horse riding, painting and photo exhibition, live concert by Kutumba, Over and Out, House of Hope Band, among others, were organized in the event.
