Madhesh: LSP’s provincial assembly member Abhiram Sharma suspended

KATHMANDU, May 3: Abhiram Sharma, a provincial assembly member representing the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) in Madhesh Province, has been suspended.

KATHMANDU, May 3: Abhiram Sharma, a provincial assembly member representing the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) in Madhesh Province, has been suspended.



Speaker of the Madhesh Province Assembly, Ram Chandra Mandal, announced that Sharma had been suspended by the Madhesh Province Assembly Secretariat.

Sharma, a member of the Madhesh Province Assembly representing LSP and the leader of the parliamentary party, has been suspended by the secretariat. This decision comes after Sharma was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Mahottari District Court in the case involving the murder of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI) Thaman BK of the Armed Police Force.
