KATHMANDU, June 9: Madhesh Province Chief Minister (CM) Satish Kumar Singh has expanded the provincial cabinet, appointing two Janamat Party lawmakers as ministers.

KATHMANDU, June 9: Madhesh Province Chief Minister (CM) Satish Kumar Singh has expanded the provincial cabinet, appointing two Janamat Party lawmakers as ministers.

Tribhuvan Sah, elected from Siraha-4 (1), has been assigned the Ministry of Forest and Environment. Sakil Miya, elected from Saptari-1 (1), has not yet been assigned a specific portfolio but will be given responsibility for another ministry allocated to the Janamat Party. 


Additionally, Ranju Mandal Khanga, previously a minister without portfolio, has been designated as the State Minister for Forest and Environment.


Preparations are underway for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed ministers.
