Madhav Nepal rules out possibility of joining Dahal-led govt

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has ruled out the possibility of joining the new government-led by the CPN (Maoist Center).

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has ruled out the possibility of joining the new government-led by the CPN (Maoist Center).



This comes amid a request of Prime Minister Dahal to join the new government. Speaking at the party Politburo meeting on Monday, Chairman Nepal also made it clear that his party will move forward keeping the interests of the nation and the people at the center.

Chairman Nepal said they will move forward after making an objective review of the latest political development in the country. He said that his party is not in favor of making accusations. 


Chairman Nepal mentioned that his party is doing well in the current political situation and said that he is not in favor of confronting anyone. He asked  party leaders and workers to understand the fact that they had to form a new party after their efforts to solve the problems by staying within the party failed in the aftermath of then Prime Minister K P Oli’s move to dissolve parliament.
