KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Machchindra Club has won Martyrs Memorial A-Division League for the first time in its history.
In the final match played at Dasharath Stadium, Machchindra Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 1-0.

For Machchindra, suicide goal of Bikash Tamang of Army on the 33rd minute of the match helped to clinch their first A- Division title.
Title winner Machchindra made 31 points in 13 games whereas Army lined up in the second position with 29 points.
Similarly, in the league, Manang Marsyangdi Club lined up in the third position with 28 points.
