Local government will get employees soon: Dahal

BANEPA, Dec 29: Chairman of CPN and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the power concentrated in Singha Durbar has already reached the villages.

BANEPA, Dec 29: Chairman of CPN and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the power concentrated in Singha Durbar has already reached the villages. 



Speaking at the golden jubilee celebrations of the Khandadevi secondary technical school in ward no. 2 of Chaurideurali rural municipality-2 here Friday, he said the power from Singha Durbar has already been delegated as per the Constitution and law. “We are now working to put that into practice.”

He also said that the local level too have the right to recruit employees by drafting an act for the same. “The civil servants should follow the government directives and report to their respective duty station,” Dahal said while noting that those who are not ready to report must be laid off by the government. 


On a different note, he said the party’s standing committee meeting will now finalize the unification process and complete it by the second week of January.
