Life’ is a sea born monster
Its teeth are long and sharp
Somewhere in the distant shore
A mermaid plays the harp
Then canons fire with a blast
Pirate flags go up the mast
On the sea death’s shadow cast
The sea is calm, the sea is smooth
Enjoy it while it lasts
