KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said that all should work together to make the dream of the martyrs come true.



In a message on the occasion of the Martyrs' Day 2078 BS today, he drew the attention of all to fulfill the dreams of the martyrs as the Nepali people have gained political rights to a great extent and the country is moving forward on the path of development and prosperity.

Stating that the main credit for the achievements of democracy, and federal republic goes to the martyrs, the Vice President highly appreciated the contribution of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the establishment of democracy and republic and expressed respect to the families of the martyrs.


"The sacrifices of the martyrs were for building a peaceful and prosperous nation by empowering all the Nepali people", said Vice President Pun adding that republic, federalism, secularism, social justice and proportional inclusive governance gained from the sacrifices of the martyrs need to be protected and institutionalized.
