Leaders, cadres of Chand-led party arrested in Nawalparasi, Surkhet

KATHMANDU, July 11: Police have arrested leaders and cadres of outlawed Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand in Nawalparasi and Surkhet on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, July 11: Police have arrested leaders and cadres of outlawed Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand in Nawalparasi and Surkhet on Thursday.

Sikhar Pahadi alias Himsikhar, Veri-Karnali Bureau Member of Chand-led party, was arrested in Surkhet, according to District Police Office. Meanwhile, Nawalparasi District Police has arrested two cadres of Chand-led outfit Kamauddhin Ansari and Sharada Bhandari.


Ansari was arrested from his home at Ramgram-10 this morning, while Bhandari was held on Wednesday from Sarawal rural municipality-1. Bhandari is also district chairperson of the All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) affiliated to the party. (With inputs from RSS)
