Leader Sitaula urges Biplav-led group to hold talks with govt

BIRATNAGAR, May 28: Former General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, has said awareness campaign launched by the Nepali Congress has helped to know the sentiments and feelings of the party cadres.



He stressed that the party leadership should follow the advice and suggestions of the party cadres in days ahead.

At a press meet organised by Morang chapter of Nepal Press Union here today, NC leader Sitaula expressed the view that no remarkable activities were found carried out by the government during its first year term and people's complaints have been found increased towards the government.


Leader Sitaula demanded the government to create an environment conducive for all constitutional bodies to carry out activities in an independent manner. He also suggested Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav'-led group to hold discussion with the government by stopping its violent activities.
