KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Nepal's Laxmi Magar has clinched a gold medal in cross-country cycling at the 13th South Asian Games.

In the competition held at Gokarna, Kathmandu on Thursday, Magar defeated her compatriot Usha Khanal (silver) and India's Pranita Prafull (bronze).
Earlier on Wednesday, Nepal won five medals in cycling including two golds.
