Lawmakers Sahai and Oli cannot be sacked: Lumbini Province Secretariat

KATHMANDU, August 22: The Lumbini Province Secretariat has maintained that lawmakers Ajay Sahai and Bimal Kumari Khatri Oli cannot be dismissed from their posts.

KATHMANDU, August 22: The Lumbini Province Secretariat has maintained that lawmakers Ajay Sahai and Bimal Kumari Khatri Oli cannot be dismissed from their posts.



Earlier, UML had urged the speaker of the Province to sack lawmakers Sahai and Oli from their posts, stating that the party had taken action against them.

However, writing to the CPN-UML, the provincial secretariat has maintained that there is no strong basis to sack Sahai and Oli.


Oli is currently with the CPN (Maoist center) and Sahai is also supporting the coalition government of Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, Janata Samajbadi Party and CPN (Unified Socialist).
