KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Newly elected lawmaker of Kaski 2 Bidya Bhattarai has been administered an oath of office and secrecy on Tuesday.

Deputy Speaker Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe administered the oath to Bhattarai who was elected in the by-election held on November 30.
Talking to the media persons following the oath-taking ceremony, lawmaker Bhattarai committed to fulfilling the promises made among the people. “I’ll justify my role as the lawmaker based on the constitution of the country for the next three years,” said Bhattarai adding, “I’ll focus on policy formulation during the initial phase and then concentrate on development activities.”
