BHAKTAPUR, June 24: The final rites of Shova Pradhan, wife of Chairman of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants Party (NWPP) Narayan Man Bijukchhe, have been performed on Friday.
Hundreds of people joined the Pradhan’s funeral procession from her residence to Hanumante Khola, Bhaktapur, on Friday afternoon.

Pradhan, who was undergoing treatment for cancer at Nepal Cancer Hospital, breathed her last on Wednesday afternoon. Born in 1960 in Ramechhap, Shova was married to Narayan Man Bijukchhe in 1983. She is survived by her husband and two sons - Subeg and Suwan.
