Prithvi Highway reopens after landslide debris cleared

MUGLIN, June 17: The Prithvi Highway, which was blocked due to landslides, has been reopened.



The highway had been blocked since this morning following a landslide between Phisling and Mauwakhola in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan, along the Muglin-Malekhu section.

Inspector Nirala Bhandari, the chief of the Area Police Office in Muglin, confirmed that the highway is now open in both directions after the debris was cleared.


With the reopening, vehicular movement that had been halted are now able to proceed to their respective destinations.
