At a press meet organized by the KUKL Project Implementation Directorate here Friday, everyone was urged not to allow their children and livestock amble on the river banks.

The Directorate has arranged to drain the water used to clean the pipes to the rivers as Bagmati, Rudramati, Bishnumati and Manohara.

Moreover, the Kathmandu Valley people are directed not to use the water from the river even for the livestock because the chemical used to clean the pipe would make adverse impact on health.
