KATHMANDU, October 15: Newly-appointed chief minister (CM) of Koshi Province, Kedar Karki visited Balkot to have a meeting with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
During their encounter, Karki expressed his gratitude to Chairman Oli for his support. Chairman Oli had a prior engagement before heading to Pyuthan. Renowned political analyst Puranjan Acharya also accompanied Karki during the meeting.

It is worth noting that Karki, who assumed the role of Chief Minister with the backing of the UML, had recently switched sides, departing from the Nepali Congress to align himself with Chairman Oli. This meeting was held at Oli's residence in Balkot on Sunday morning.
