KMC to collect biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste separately from today

KATHMANDU, July 17: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started separately collecting biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste beginning Sunday. For this, the metropolis has already published the schedule.

KATHMANDU, July 17: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started separately collecting biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste beginning Sunday. For this, the metropolis has already published the schedule.



Biodegradable waste will be collected on Sunday and Wednesday and non-biodegradable waste will be collected on Monday and Friday, according to the metropolis.

Citizens have to segregate waste as prescribed. The metropolis had issued a notice a month ago and informed the citizens  about the classification of waste.
