KMC seals two hospitals operating without renewing license

KATHMANDU, June 13: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has sealed two hospitals operating in Kathmandu for operating without renewal of license.

KATHMANDU, June 13: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has sealed two hospitals operating in Kathmandu for operating without renewal of license.



A monitoring team deployed by the Kathmandu metropolis on Monday sealed the China People's Hospital in Bouddha and Hamro Sahayatri Hospital and Birthing Center in Koteshwar as they were found to be operating without renewing their registration.

During the monitoring, it was found that both the hospitals were operating without renewing their registration license for a long time, according to the Kathmandu metropolis. KMC officials said that even the pharmacies operating inside the hospitals were operating without registration.
