KMC school staff found dead, school in stress

KATHMANDU, July 3: An employee of the hostel of KMC School in Buddhanagar of Kathmandu has been found dead.

KATHMANDU, July 3: An employee of the hostel of KMC School in Buddhanagar of Kathmandu has been found dead.



According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Dinesh Raj Mainali of the District Police Office, Rama Rayamajhi, 21, of Temal village in Kavre was found hanging in the girls' hostel of the school on Saturday night at quarter to eight.

Tensions have risen at KMC School over the death of the employee. Outraged groups have vandalized the school. The school's digital board has also been damaged due to the outrage. A significant number of police have been deployed to control the situation.


According to Mainali, efforts are being made to hold talks between the two sides (school and victim). Some are creating obstacles in this process.


Police have been providing security to the school premises since 8 PM on Saturday.
