KMC directs schools to appoint information officers

KATHMANDU, May 25: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has directed all community and institutional schools within its jurisdiction to appoint information officers.

KATHMANDU, May 25: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has directed all community and institutional schools within its jurisdiction to appoint information officers.



The local body mandated that these appointments be completed by May 27.

According to Govinda Prasad Sharma, the chief of the Education Department at the metropolis, this is not the first time such a directive has been issued.


Currently, there are 87 community schools and 600 institutional schools operating within the Kathmandu metropolis.
