Kedia Foundation awards legal professionals

KATHMANDU, March 18: Professor Laxman Prasad Mainali has been awarded with the Shankar Lal Kedia Best Book Writing Award for his book Juvenile Justice System in Nepal and Pankaj Kumar Karna has been selected for Shankar Lal Memorial Youth Law Award.

KATHMANDU, March 18: Professor Laxman Prasad Mainali has been awarded with the Shankar Lal Kedia Best Book Writing Award for his book Juvenile Justice System in Nepal and Pankaj Kumar Karna has been selected for Shankar Lal Memorial Youth Law Award.

The Lawyers Club and the Shankar Lal Kedia Foundation jointly organized the felicitation program earlier this week. Chief Justice Sushila Karki among other senior lawyers and legal professionals attended the event. Former Chief Justices Khil Raj Regmi, Bishwanath Upadhyay, senior lawyers Laxman Aryal, Bhimarjun Acharya and Yubaraj Sangraula were among those who were conferred with the awards.


The Foundation has been conferring noted lawyers and professionals with the awards for the last nine years.
