1016 cases across the country in the past 24 hours
KATHMANDU, Aug 18: As many as 205 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours.

According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 138 new cases were detected in Kathmandu district alone. Similarly, 50 and 17 cases were confirmed in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts, respectively.
The health ministry reported that 1,016 cases have been confirmed across the nation in the past 24 hours.
