Kathmandu Valley’s COVID-19 case tally up by 2,047 in a day

KATHMANDU, April 28: The Kathmandu Valley witnessed 2,047 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, April 28: The Kathmandu Valley witnessed 2,047 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.



Almost 50 percent of the total COVID-19 cases recorded across the country were detected in the valley alone.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), as many as 1,464 new cases in Kathmandu, 351 in Lalitpur and 232 in Bhaktapur districts were recorded in the past 24 hours.


All the three districts in the valley are among the districts with the highest number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country.
