Kathmandu: Independent Balen Shah doubles his lead against UML's Sthapit

KATHMANDU, May 17: Independent candidate Balendra Shah (Balen) has maintained his lead in the counting of votes till 9 AM on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, May 17: Independent candidate Balendra Shah (Balen) has maintained his lead in the counting of votes till 9 AM on Tuesday.



According to the results so far, Balen has got 10,316 votes while his nearest rival  Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML has got 5,491 votes. Similarly, Srijana Singh of Nepali Congress is trailing behind Sthapit with 4,777 votes so far. The vote counting of Kathmandu Metropolitan City continues so far.
