Karan Johar introduced talented actors like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria with his popular ‘Student of the Year’ franchise. And now, after impressing the audience with the films on the silver screen, he is all set to take it to the web portal. According to Filmfare, Karan is planning to take the ‘Student of the Year’ franchise ahead and make it onto a web show. Although details regarding the same are unknown, it would be interesting to watch the drama unfold on the web platform.
Meanwhile, Karan will be taking over the reins of direction yet again after ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ with his upcoming magnum opus, ‘Takht’. The period drama boasts of a ensemble star cast which includes, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
