Birgunj, July 28: Youth leader of Nepali Congress (NC), Kanchan Jha has been appointed as an invited member of the party’s Terai-Madhes Coordination Department. He was appointed an invited member of the department by Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya, central member of NC and chief of Terai-Madhes Coordination Department.
Jha made his appointment public by posting his announcement on Facebook on Tuesday. Prior to his appointment, Jha was advocating Madhes issues in various community campaigns and in the international media as well. Following his appointment, the issue of the Terai-Madhes will be advocated directly at the central level of the party.

Following his appointment, Jha expressed his commitment to maintain the trust shown by NC in him. “Taking this opportunity, I am determined to maintain the trust NC has shown in me. At the same time, I express my commitment to move forward with the objectives of the Terai-Madhes Coordination Department by assimilating the values of NC,” Jha said.
