KATHMANDU, June 22: A writ petition filed by cinema hall operators against KMC Mayor Balen will be heard by the single bench of Patan High Court Judge Dhir Bahadur Chand.
On Wednesday, the cinema hall owners registered a case against him, saying that the local government had stopped the Hindi movie 'Adipurush' although the federal government had allowed its screening after censoring it.

Balen had given a three-day ultimatum to remove the dialogue that said Janaki is India's daughter in 'Adipurush'. Balen had announced that if the dialogue was not removed within the given time, he would not allow not only ‘Adipiurush’ but any Hindi movie to be played in the metropolis.
