KATHMANDU, Jan 4: A meeting of the Judicial Council held on Wednesday recommended 39 judges at high courts.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha recommended the names for high court judges.

Of the recommended judges, 26 are judges of district courts, while four from judicial service and public prosecutors. Similarly, nine of them are practicing judges of high courts.
The meeting also transferred 16 judges of high courts.
