Japan's State Minister for Foreign Affairs pays courtesy call on CEC Thapaliya

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Takei Shunsuke, paid a courtesy call on Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya at the Election Commission on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Takei Shunsuke, paid a courtesy call on Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya at the Election Commission on Monday. 



The Japanese state minister is currently in Nepal. He arrived here on November 20 to observe the elections to the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies.

On the occasion, they held discussions on matters of bilateral relation and cooperation. State Minister Takei appreciated the process of the HoR and provincial assemblies elections held on November 20 while Chief Election Commissioner Thapaliya thanked the Japanese delegation for observing the election. 


EC Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi, joint secretaries and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Kikuta Yutaka were also present during the meeting.
